Since 1962 Kelowna Community has been bringing people together – there’s nothing like seeing it live! Since we opened the doors and raised the curtain in 1962, the theatre has been a vision of bringing people together from across the Okanagan and beyond to enjoy the performing arts from community groups to professional productions. This vision continues and with recently completed major renovations, the theatre is a gem in the heart of Kelowna’s vibrant Cultural District.

The Kelowna Community Theatre is in the Cultural District in the heart of beautiful downtown Kelowna in British Columbia's breath taking Okanagan Valley. Located in the interior of the province and surrounded by orchards and wineries, Kelowna offers all the big city amenities with a small town charm and sensibility. The KCT is proud to be home to The Kelowna Community Concert Society, Theatre Kelowna Society, The Okanagan Symphony Orchestra and Ballet Kelowna. These organizations delight audiences all year by bringing words to life and by evolving music and danceinto an art form in its most profound sense. Aside from The Fabulous Seasons provided by these organizations, the theatre has hosted such acts as Duke Ellington's Band, Prairie Oyster, Royal Winnipeg Ballet, The Moscow Ballet, Colm Wilkinson, Who's Line is It Anyways, The Proclaimers, Leahy and the Just for Laughs Comedy Tour as well as many, many more fabulous national and international acts. There is something for everyone here at the Theatre! The KCT is also proud to present ARTSCAPE. This initiative of the Kelowna and District Arts Council encourages and facilitates area artists and artisans by providing alternative non-gallery display spaces. As you enter our lobby you will see the beautiful work of area artists. The art revolves every 2 months. Come and be inspired!
